Duo Casado" is a husband-and-wife ensemble consisting of the great cellist Gaspard Casado, who is revered alongside Casals, and the pianist Chieko Hara, who has been reevaluated as a "legendary pianist. This album is the world premiere CD release of this legendary duo. This album was recorded in 1963 while the couple was on a musical tour of the former Soviet Union, and although it was released on LP in 1981, unfortunately it is not in circulation and is almost unknown to classical music fans. The couple also recorded the "Casado Encore Album," but the inclusion of the couple's signature piece, Casado's "Words of Love," in this recording is also not to be overlooked.
