Shocking first live recording on the 40th anniversary of Karl Richter's death! The release of Haydn's "The Creation", which is not included in the discography! In 2021, the 40th anniversary of the death of Carl Richter, Haydn's "The Creation" will be released! Richter passed away suddenly on February 15, 1981, and therefore the studio recording of "The Creation," one of the most important works in his repertoire, could not be made. This recording was made live at the Munich State Opera in May 1972, and miraculously was preserved in the archives of the Bavarian State Opera. The Hensler label negotiated with the Bavarian State Opera to release the recording on CD, and finally the recording has seen the light of day. Although the sound quality is not the best because it is a recording, it is a valuable source that allows us to fully enjoy the "Richter sound" because it was recorded in stereo.
