Diego Conti, a student of Schandor Weg. Diego Conti, a student of Schandor Weg, recorded the complete works of Locatelli's "Violin Technique"! Pietro Locatelli (1695-1764) was born in Bergamo in northern Italy, studied in Rome, and then moved to Amsterdam, where he was active as a composer and violinist in the late Baroque period in Italy. An accomplished violinist himself, Locatelli's "Violin Technique, Op. 3" is a magnificent masterpiece consisting of 12 violin concertos with 24 capriccios. Each capriccio movement is not only a difficult work, but also famous for its role as a cadenza. The soloist, Diego Conti, is an Italian violinist who studied at the Mozarteum Conservatory in Salzburg under the maestro Sándor Weg. He is a master of the Camerata Salzburg, I Solisti Veneti, and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, and has served as concertmaster of the Florence May Festival Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Teatro Massimo Bellini.Diego Conti spent 10 long years steadily bringing the complete works to completion because of the greatness of Locatelli's "Art of the Violin".
