Emmanuelle Despa, a Fazioli player who studied piano with Ruth Nye at the Royal College of Music in England and is a granddaughter of Claudio Arrau, is an excellent performer of Romantic and Post-Romantic works. Despa has built a reputation as an outstanding performer of Romantic and Post-Romantic works, and his latest release is a collection of modern French piano works on the theme of night! An ode to the French Belle Époque repertoire, this work depicts the beauty of night and dreams by combining famous works by Saint-Saëns, Debussy, and Ravel, Fauré's "After a Dream" arranged by Despa, and rarely performed masterpieces by Chaminade, Poulenc, Duparc, and others. This work is also a work of art by his grandfather, who was also a composer.
