Trevino and the RAI National Symphony Orchestra make a grand entrance with their first recording of the "Rome Trilogy," one of the most famous works of modern Italy! Conductor Robert Trevino, who shook audiences with two albums of Ravel after his shocking Beethoven symphony cycle, and showed a new side with his subsequent Lautavaara and American works, has been Music Director of the Basque National Orchestra since the 2017/18 season, and from the 2021/22 season will also serve as Principal Guest Conductor of the RAI National The RAI National Symphony Orchestra was formed in 1994 from the RAI Symphony Orchestras in Rome, Turin, Milan, and Naples, and this is the first recording with Trevino. This is the first recording with Trevino of the orchestra's first concert in Rome, and the first recording of the "Rome Trilogy," which was carefully recorded over a three-day session after the concert on November 23, 2022, when Respighi took up his post in Rome in 1913.
