The "French Way" was fresh and new! The new ensemble "El Gran Teatro del Mundo" was formed in Basel, a major center of ancient music education, by a group of virtuoso players, mainly from Spain, who have been active in a wide range of fields in Europe. The program chosen for the CD debut of the ensemble is a selection of music that makes one realize how fresh and fresh the music was when Germans were just opening their eyes to the French suite style, which was strongly connected to the steps of the dance.
