Franck talks passionately with his hand-picked French Radio Philharmonic Orchestra! Here are (César) Franck's symphonies with Finnish conductor Mikko Franck, well-known in Japan for his several visits, and the French Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, of which he has been chef since 2015. The coupling is a symphonic poem inspired by Victor Hugo's poem and written before Liszt's work of the same name. The music has the clear sound and dramatic music-making style of Franck, who also specializes in opera. This is the first co-production between the French Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and Alpha.
