Description:

Takuro Okada's latest work, the original soundtrack of the movie "After the Heat" directed by Hide Yamamoto, is now available on analog vinyl! Takuro Okada is a producer, arranger, and guitarist whose name has never gone unheard in Japan's alternative music scene, including the likes of Satoko Shibata, Yuuga, and never young beach. Following his previous album "Betsu No Jikan", which became the album that defined his talent in 2022 after the breakup of "Mori wa Ikiteiru", this album is now released in analog format. Like air, the sounds that blend into the world of the film, yet are necessary and inevitable, exist like a minimal ambient piece, with the theme music that supports the entire film gently changing form. Many of the instruments, including piano and acoustic guitar, are played by Okada himself, and the breathy tones of saxophonist Qi Matsumaru and double bassist Hiroki Chiba, who also participate in his live band compositions, are layered on top of each other. The mastering by Okada's beloved Jim O'Rourke and the artwork by Toru Kase make this another soundtrack masterpiece.
