The latest release in the popular "Pay It All Back Vol. 8" series from Adrian Sherwood's On-U Sound label, which has been influential in the music scene for over 40 years, has been continuously released since 1984, and has been a sampler of the label's music since then. Pay It All Back Vol. 8" is the latest in the long-awaited "Pay It All Back" series of label samplers that have been released since 1984 on On-U Sound, Adrian Sherwood's label that has had a profound influence on the music scene in the UK. The album includes the never-before-released "Many Names Of God" by the late Lee Scratch Perry, a track that was originally recorded by Lee Scratch Perry for his "Many Names Of God" album. This song was completed during the production of "Rainford" (named after Lee Scratch Perry's real name) and its dub version "Heavy Rain".In addition to songs from the new record by legend Horace Andy, who recently released his latest album on the On-U Sound label, there is a long-awaited new song from Creation Level, On-U Sound's flagship band, and a project led by percussionist BonJo I. The album also features a new song by African Head Charge, a new song by Tuckhead, and a new song by Mark Stewart, as well as previously unreleased songs by Andy Fairley and Sherwood & Pinch, The CD also includes a new song from African Head Charge, a new song from Tackhead, a new song from Mark Stewart, and previously unreleased songs from Andy Fairley and Sherwood & Pinch. This is an astonishing compilation with 15 of the 19 songs on the CD being previously unreleased songs! Domestic CDs will come with a commentary enclosed.
