The talented German-Greek girl, Danae Derken, plays Mozart & Mendelssohn piano concertos! Born in 1991 to a German-Greek family, Danae Derken was recognized by Yehudi Menuhin at the age of seven as a talented pianist. With her outstanding technique and charisma, this new generation artist, who has built up an international reputation with Swiss music magazine Crescendo and German concerti magazine, performed a collection of Mozart and Mendelssohn piano concertos with her teacher, Lars Forkert. Also nicknamed "Elvira Madigan" after the movie in which her music was used, she displays bright and flamboyant pianism in Mozart's popular pieces, while her supple and dashing performance shines in Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto.
