Danilo Plessow, aka Motor City Drum Ensemble MCDE, opens with a techno-soul remix that spins at full throttle with strings and synth power reminiscent of Detroit techno, or rather UR or Jaguar! Kareem Ali reinterprets the jazz touch of keyboards and saxophone into a Latin groover for a relaxing evening.Switzerland's Melodiesfonie delivers chill, Balearic organic grooves that sharpen tension. Deep house master Session Victim delivers their signature percussive, deep-stomper, swirling house at its finest. Chillout guru Fila Brazillia proves her skills with breakbeats that make use of italo synths and slow acid to evoke an original Balearic mind, while Brazilian VoodooHop sect Xique-Xique showcases organic slowbeats infused with mild Brazilian psychedelia. Xique-Xique, a member of the Brazilian VoodooHop faction, pours mild Brazilian psychedelia into organic slow beats. All the artists have a respect for the originals, and each returns with an answer in his or her own style, a quality control that is truly Oath!
