True to the album title *NOBRAKES*, it likens his adventurous, car-racing-loving personality to a philosophy of life that charges ahead at full speed. “NOBRAKES” blends Zeiders’ unique style—a fusion of emo, ’90s sounds, alternative, roots music, and country—to create songs that reflect the “raw, authentic reality” of coming of age in the 2020s. Zeiders collaborated with top-tier producers and songwriters—including Evan Blair (Benson Boone), Ben Johnson (Morgan Wallen), Gabe Simon (Noah Kahan, Lana Del Rey), Jeff Garrison (Morgan Wallen), and KK Johnson (Dasha), as well as longtime creative partners Ross Copperman and Justin Ebach. The lead track from the album is the title track, “No Brakes.” This song blends gospel harmonies with steel guitar to depict a romantic relationship that, despite being destined for a turbulent path, charges forward “full throttle, no brakes.” “Life is inevitable,” Zeiders says of the album. “The good and the bad—it all comes your way. So you just have to keep going. There are no choices, but why would you even want them in the first place?
