Description:
Edu Lobo, one of the most famous singer/songwriters of Brazilian music, has reissued his classic 1973 album, which was released in North America and then re-released in Brazil. Produced by Dori Caimi. In addition to Dori, Danilo Caimi, Novelli, Tenorio Jr., Nelson Angelo, Paulo Moura, and Milton Nascimento also participated. The rich rhythms and unique shadows of Nordesti's music, which had been presented in his previous works, acquired a more sonic sound, which could be described as psychedelic. The surprisingly simple sound that unexpectedly rears its head from the unsettled atmosphere that symbolized Brazil at the time of its military rule, and Edu's catchy yet uncomplicated melodies, are recorded by the best performers and studios of the time, making this one of the greatest recordings in the history of Brazilian music. It is truly a masterpiece, comparable to albums such as Milton Nascimento & Lo Borges' "CLUBE DA ESQUINA", Danilo Caimi's "CHEIRO VERDE", or Nelson Angelo & Joyce's "NELSON ANGELO E JOYCE".
