Conducted by Adam Fischer and directed by Peter Stein! The Magic Flute", a performance of "The Magic Flute" given in September 2016 by the Academy, founded in 2001 by La Scala, which proudly stands in Milan, a city where historical culture flourishes, to nurture young musicians who will lead the next generation, will be made into a film. A fresh lineup of young soloists with great promise for the future, as well as Academy students participating in the orchestra, chorus, costume design, stage technology, and more. All 10 performances of this special project were sold out and closed with great success. The production will be directed by Peter Stein, a leading figure in the contemporary theater world, and will be flanked by Ferdinand Wegelbauer for stage design, Anna Maria Heinreich, known for her striking costumes, Joachim Barthes for lighting, and a team of specialists led by Stein. The conductor is Adam Fischer, who visited Japan in 2016 to conduct the production at the Vienna State Opera. Adam Fischer spent more than a year meeting with the students of the Academy for this project, and it is a very powerful performance.Martin Sommer, a bass singer born in Austria in 1988 who gave a powerful performance as the aged Zarathustro, is a newcomer who made his theater debut as Sniga in Bizet's "Carmen" at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt in December 2015. Fatma Said from Egypt, who impressed with her lovely clear voice, was born in 1991. Till von Orlovsky was born in 1988 in Freilassing, Germany, near Salzburg. She studied lieder and oratorio with Claudia Visca and Robert Holl, and as a lyric baritone with a spontaneous voice and rich expressive power, she gives a fine performance of Papageno. The Magic Flute" is a mesmerizing performance of Mozart's beautiful music, including the superb aria "The Queen of the Night" and Papageno's "I am a Bird Stick". The Zingspiel is a German-language music drama, and many productions cut out the dialogue without music, but Peter Stein has stuck to the traditional style of production by young actors without cutting out any dialogue.You can enjoy a fulfilling performance born from a good relationship between veterans and young people.
