Description:

A collection of works by Philip Glass by composer and contemporary music pianist Anton Batagov, born in Moscow in 1965. Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, and Julianne Moore star in "The Hours," a film that won Nicole Kidman the 2002 Academy Award for Best Actress and was nominated for nine awards, including Best Picture. The film's music by Philip Glass is known as one of Glass's greatest works. Glass's new work "Distant Figure" was written for the performer Batagov.
