The group, which once included James Blake as a live member and has played a central role in the electronic music scene, has released their latest album "MK 3.5: Die Cuts | City Planning", a 2-CD set featuring works by each member, on Warp. The album is a collection of works by each member of the band. The album is an expression of the duality of Mount Kimbie's aesthetic. Dom's "Die Cuts" is colorful and melody-driven, and the album features a wide variety of styles, thanks to the inclusion of a number of different collaborators.Moving between hip-hop, R&B, electronic, and pop, it combines crafted songwriting with subtle, left-field touches and features a stellar lineup of guests, including James Blake, Slowtie, Danny Brown, Reggie, Wiki, and others.
