A collection of Henselt's piano works, including world premiere recordings! Born in the Kingdom of Bavaria, Henselt was a composer and pianist, and later a pedagogue when he moved to St. Petersburg. Chopin was his specialty, and Henselt wrote a number of exercises. Indonesian pianist Esther Budiarjo was described by The Boston Globe as "astonished by the delicacy and variety of her touch and the refined deftness and musical spirit of her fingers."
