Erika Wennerstrom, female guitarist/vocalist of the US rock band Heartless Basterds, makes her solo debut! A bittersweet, bluesy psychedelic rock with polished, expressive vocals! Erika Wennerstrom, guitarist/vocalist of the Texas-based rock band Heartless Bastards, has released her debut solo album "Sweet Unknown". Erica Wennerstrom, guitarist/vocalist for the rock band Heartless Basterds, is pleased to announce the release of her debut solo album, "Sweet Unknown". One such trip was to the Amazon around the time of the release of the Heartless Basterds' 2015 album Restless Ones. At the time, Erica was in a state of mind far from happiness, so she decided to go to the Amazon to receive ayahuasca (a hallucinogenic Amazonian plant) therapy. Although it was a terrifying idea, she felt that something inside her needed to change dramatically. As a result, this trip allowed Erica to break free of her self-doubt and open a new door.The bright and optimistic "Letting Go" expresses his experiences on that trip. In "Extraordinary Love," written during a hiking trip to Big Bend National Park in West Texas, she sings about her own realization that she does everything in her life for love. Released after a difficult period of time, this album further refines Erica's unisex and expressive vocals. The album contains nine songs, mainly austere rock 'n' roll and bluesy psychedelic rock.
