As the title suggests, this album is unified by the all-playing Americana." The unique atmosphere of the song "BE GOOD" is a mixture of a youthful singing voice and a sense of mastery, "GRASS STAIN" is an alterna narrative full of the spirit of becoming a big name even though it is the night before the awakening as seen in the music video, "CATFISH" has a Daniel Johnston-like simplicity, and "TIGERS BLOOD" has a sharp sense of style. The sharpness of sense is still there from this time! Waxahatchee is now on par with the likes of Boy Genius and Big Thief. You can trace her career from her new colorful debut album, which is filled with the source of her all-playing voice!
