The Wallflowers, a band formed by Jacob Dylan, son of Bob Dylan, who has had numerous hits. Their seventh album, "Exit Wounds," their first in nine years, is now available. For the past 30 years, The Wallflowers, led by Jakob Dylan, have been one of the most dynamic and purposeful bands in rock. They have blended timeless songwriting and storytelling with modern music, concentrating and continually refining their sound. Their signature style has been on display for decades, baked into their 1996 smash "Bringing Down the Horse" and their most recent release to date, 2012's "Glad All Over. Exit Wounds is the new studio album from The Wallflowers. As the title suggests, it is a tribute to individuals and groups of people who have been through some things. No one is the same person they were four years ago. This is what 'Exit Wounds' means to me. It doesn't mean anything negative. Wherever we go, even if it's to a better place, we leave people and things behind, we think about them, and as a result, we always end up wearing them. That's what 'Exit Wounds' is about, and we're all swimming in it," says Dylan.The band released its debut album, The Wallflowers, in 1992; its second album, Bringing Down the Horse, was released in 1996 and went platinum, selling over 4 million copies. The band won the 1998 Grammy Awards for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song. The band continued to release albums on an ongoing basis, with their most recent release, "Glad All Over," released in 2012.
