OMEGA, formed in 1962, has been one of the top bands in the Hungarian Rock scene for over 60 years. Remastered and reissued as a 4CD box set from GrundRecords, Hungary in '22! CD1 contains the remastered version of the '72 album, "Hutlen baratok" Szomoru tortenet "Regvart kedvesem" 200 evvel az utolso haboru utan" released as a single in '72, CD2 contains the raw mix of the '72 album, and CD3 contains the remastered version of the '72 album. CD3 is a new remix of the '22 version of the '72 album, and CD4 is a live audience recording of the '72 album, which is being released for the first time. Gabor Presser (organ/p/vo) and Jozsef Laux (drs/perc) have left the lineup of the previous album, and Ferenc Debreczeni (drs) has newly joined the band, making this the first album recorded by the longtime lineup until the 2010s.200 EVVEL AZ UTOLSO HABORU UTAN," which was discovered and released in 1998, was prepared for the 4th album, but because the lyrics were caught by the censors, the composition was partially changed and the music for the 4th album was recorded live without an audience on a university stage, and then recorded in a studio. The song was then completed in the studio with overdubs of vocals, instrumentation, and actual audience cheers that were recorded at the time. The effect of the one-shot recording may have been the reason for the more aggressive and powerful performance, as if the hard rock sound that blossomed on the previous album "EJSZAKAI ORSZAGUT" had been given a boost, and the dramatic arrangements that lead to later hard symphonic lines are also well worth listening to, making this album a must for Eastern European rock fans! This is a work that fans of Eastern European rock music will not be able to resist!
