Live recorded in Troubadour, LA in 1971, "WHERE'S THE MONEY?" is a hip acoustic combo of guitar, violin, and bass, with witty vocals and a chic female chorus. This is the 3rd album with Nick DeCarlo on string arrangements and Tony Lipuma on production. It is a masterpiece full of witty and stylish American music, including the reprise of "Canned Music" and "I Scare Myself" from their debut album, and "Walkin' One and Only," which is famous for its cover of Maria Mulder's "Walkin' One and Only.The Home of Happy Feet" (1973), "LAST TRAIN TO HICKSVILLE... THE HOME OF HAPPY FEET" This 4th album features a new drummer, a tighter ensemble, and a more contemporary swing feel, while the aloof vocals of the chic Dan still exude the same style. The songs are more varied, ranging from earthy tastes featuring dobro and mandolin to a blend of bossa nova and jazz.
