Recorded in 1981, this treasured soundtrack has been in storage until recently, and is now finally being released. The release features not only the talented members of the band, including Bill Meyers, Carlos Rios, Neil Steubenhaus, and Vinnie Caliuta, but also Jeff Porcaro, who was in his prime when he recorded four songs. The sound is like that of the Pages, Maxus, and Nielsen-Pearson.I'm more than a little impressed with myself right now! --The super-project, which consists of Bill Meyers, a keyboardist who worked with Gino Vanelli, EW&F, Boz Scaggs and others, and Guy Thomas, a SSW/guitarist (Michael McDonald, Jackson Browne, etc.), has finally released a previously unreleased album, which was recorded in 1981. The super-project recorded an unreleased album in 1981, but it was put in storage and has finally been released! The album features Neil Steubenhaus (b), Carlos Rios (g), Vinnie Caliuta (ds), and even Jeff Porcaro (ds), and is of such high quality that it is hard to believe that the record company refused to release it at the time. The sound of this album is the best AOR album among the recent excavated AOR albums, with a crossover/fusion taste of the Paizis line.
