After playing in the legendary unit The Firm with fellow Queens natives Nas, AZ, Foxy Brown, and others in the early 90s, Cormega released his first solo album, "The Realness," in 2001. Cormega, aka "Mega," who has become the face of QB=Queens Underground in both name and reality, has released his first solo album "Mega Philosophy," produced by the master Large Professor, after a four-year absence. This new album, which is as heavy-handed as ever, is produced by Streetrunner and his partner Tarik Azzouz, a Grammy-winning producer known for his work with big names such as Eminem, Fat Joe, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, and Nicki Minaj. Streetrunner and his partner Tarik Azzouz. All of the gems on this album are also included in instrumental versions, making this the quintessential example of authentic N.Y. hip-hop at its finest.
