Tamura Yosuke's second leader album, "3-4," is a counting "three-four," and the three members of the trio play "three for" with all their hearts for the audience. The trio of leader Yosuke Tamura (dr), Hiroyuki Takubo (p), and Hiroshi Ikejiri (b) was fostered by the live house "One Note" in Shinjuku Gyoen. The trio is made up of a very well cared for good piano, customers who love the store, delicious food (Neapolitan!), and the best of the shop, customers, and musicians. The best relationship between the store, customers, and musicians. The steady shows at such an ideal live house have become a popular program, with a small number of customers at first, but now the place is packed every time. And then the album was born. What a "happy ending. In the liner notes of the first album "Love Calls," I once wrote that Tamura was "well-tailored," as if he were a skilled tailor. Listening to the second album, a new image emerged.Just as a piano tuner silently re-tunes loose strings, tightens screws, and checks the feel of the keyboard to reborn the sound of the piano, Tamura silently chops the rhythm, sometimes loosening it, sometimes rushing it, sometimes sprinkling spice on it, creating grooves and swings with the piano and bass, and impressing the audience. The gentle gaze behind the glasses is always tuning the music to the trio's performance. Silently. A "silent tuner." His work is assured and strangely warm.
