INDA Chihiro, violin Chihiro Inda began playing the violin at the age of two and a half at the Suzuki Method. After graduating from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music High School, she went on to graduate from the same university. She completed the Diploma Course for Performers at the Royal Academy of Music in England. She has studied with Reini Inda, Asako Yoshikawa, Kazuki Sawa, Wolfgang Marschner, and Georges Pauk. She won the third prize in the junior division of the Novosibirsk Young Violinists International Competition, the third prize in the Marschner International Competition, the Great Wall Cup Overall Grand Prix, and the first prize in the Toshiya Eto Violin Competition. 2009 CHANEL Pygmalion Days Concert Series, NHK-FM Masterpieces In 2009, she performed in the CHANEL Pygmalion Days concert series, NHK-FM Masterpieces Recital, and Tokyo Opera City's "B to C Bach to Contemporary," as well as chamber music concerts, including a duo recital series with her brother, cellist Yosuke, and the concert series "Sonata Journey" with pianist Kasumi Yamamoto, and guest concerts with the Tokyo Universal Philharmonic Orchestra, including guest concertmaster. He completed his studies at the Prague Conservatory in Prague, Czech Republic. She has performed with Tomasz Jamník at the Dvorak Hall in the Czech Republic in a double concerto, and has also performed as a soloist in concertos with orchestras, chamber music, orchestras, recordings, and a wide range of activities from YouTube to contemporary music. Since 2012, she has been holding annual duo recitals with her sister, violinist Chihiro Indah, exploring the possibilities of the violin-cello duo format. She also actively performs Japanese works, often premiering new compositions. She is a graduate of the Triton Arts Network Outreach Seminar. He has received numerous awards, including the first prize in the chamber music division of the Tateshina Music Competition in Tokyo, and the gold prize in the string ensemble division of the Youth Prague International Music Competition.
