The first solo release in the career of Jonas Harvist (Finland), one of the best jazz pianists in Scandinavia (Blue Grime's fourth release). The theme of this album is J.S. Bach, one of Jonas Harvist's most important musicians, and includes a selection of Bach's superbly lyrical compositions as well as Bach-inspired originals. The Japan-only bonus track is "Waltz for Debby," a Bach-inspired masterpiece by Bill Evans. The beautiful melody and delicate piano touch that creates a transparent sound space depict a new frontier as a Bach follower. The title "Inner Inversions" is about delving deep into one's inner self and finding another side. The theme chosen for the solo performance created from concentration and solitude is J.S. Bach, a great musician who had a great influence on Jonas Harvist's own inner world.The original (1), (5), and (6) inspired by the famous "Mean Clavier Book 1", also known as the classical bible, the original (2) and (3) inspired by Bach, the original (4) and (7) arranged with his own interpretation of Bach's masterpiece, the original dedicated to the great master Benny Golson (8), the original dedicated to the master Benny Golson ( 8), an original homage to the classic "All the Things You Are" (9), and a bonus track dedicated to Bill Evans and Japanese audiences, Evans' masterpiece (10), all Bach-related songs. A new Jazz story that embodies his feelings for Bach through solo performance in his endless drive and creativity.
