Director Almodóvar, after collaborations with Bernardo Bonezzi and Ennio Morricone, and before his long and successful partnership with writer Alberto Iglesias,The film features this young Oscar-winning Japanese composer. For this film, Sakamoto wrote a brilliant melodramatic score whose theme song quickly became one of his hits, and the album also includes two songs ("Un anode amor" and "Piensa en mi") that Luz Casal sang for the film. These songs were so well received that they were instantly established as emblematic songs of Spanish cinema.This time, it has been specially restored and mastered from the original stereo master tapes and is available on CD and LP.
