Singer/songwriter Eric Kaz, known for his eternal masterpieces "If You're Lonely" ('72) and "Cul-de-sac" ('74), has released his first studio-recorded solo album in 41 years in Japan. In 2002, Slice of Life released "1000 years of sorrow" in Japan, which was mainly composed of excavated sound sources from the 70's. This album is the first solo album by Eric Kaz in 41 years. Although he has recorded duets as a member of American Flyer and with Craig Fuller, this is his "first new solo album in 41 years" since 1974's "CUL-DE-SAC" as a studio album of all new songs. It includes mainly narrative pieces backed only by piano, as well as band-sounding pop pieces and orchestrated pieces. It is an album that all Eric fans and singer/songwriter fans will welcome with open arms, as it shows that Eric's talent has not dried up and that he is still an artist capable of producing excellent works.
