The album also includes the original song "High And Lonesome," co-written by Robert Plant and T Bone Burnett. Lucinda Williams' first recording, a cover of the classic "Can't Let Go" by Randy Weeks, was released with information about this latest release, and the stunning duet has already garnered much attention. The songs selected for RAISE THE ROOF alternately reflect deeply rooted influences and new discoveries for each artist.Robert Plant wanted to incorporate traditional English folk, which he has loved since his adolescence, and Alison Krauss said that when she heard "Quattro (World Drift In)" by Calexico, a leading Americana artist, "the moment we heard this song, we We knew we were going to make another album," he said. We wanted this album to have movement. We wanted to inject a different personality into the sound, so we got other people involved in the production.
