Many world premiere recordings! Kateřina Englihová's new recording is a collection of works for harp by Czech composers, most of which are world premiere recordings. Most of the works are world premiere recordings, including works by Hrunyk, Sulka, and Gemrot, all of which were dedicated to Englihová. Slavitsky's works are world premiere recordings in a style heavily influenced by Moravian folk songs and Janacek. Furnik is a pianist who has made many famous recordings, but he is also a composer and a multi-talented musician. Hecker's Tomb" for flute and harp is a late work by Furniuk. Karabeč was a composer of many different styles. The Trio for oboe, harp and piano by Izzy Gemrot, one of the leading contemporary Czech composers, is a wonderful work of high artistic quality.This album also features the co-stars Carol Wincens on flute, Willem Veverka on oboe, and Martin Kasiuk on piano!
