Thierry Fischer has served as Principal Conductor of the Ulster Orchestra, Principal Conductor of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Permanent Conductor (now Honorary Guest Conductor) of the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, Music Director of the Utah Symphony Orchestra, and Principal Guest Conductor of the Seoul City Symphony Orchestra since 2017. He is currently the Music Director of the Utah Symphony Orchestra and has been the Principal Guest Conductor of the Seoul City Symphony Orchestra since 2017. He has been the Music Director of the Utah Symphony Orchestra since 2009, and his excellent skills have revitalized this great American orchestra, and he has established an excellent relationship with the orchestra. Thierry Fischer and the Utah Symphony Orchestra are currently enjoying an exciting new relationship. The third volume of the project couples one of Saint-Saens' masterpieces, the Carnival of the Animals, with two lesser-known symphonies from his early years. Symphony No. 1 was written in 1853 (at the age of 18) and Symphony in A major was written by the young Saint-Saens around 1850 (about 15 years old), but they are symphonies that boast remarkable technical and musical perfection despite their youth.Also look forward to the superb ensemble skills and excellent recording of the Utah Symphony Orchestra, which has been praised around the world for its first (CDA 68201) and second (CDA 68212) releases!
