A special limited edition boxed set of Barne Whelan's hit "La Note Bleue" 180g heavy vinyl LP, booklet (40 pages), reissued comic book (88 pages), and a previously unreleased CD from 1989 are all included! Barne Whelan was born in Nice, France in 1937 and became famous in 1957 when he performed with Miles Davis on the soundtrack of "Elevator to the Gallows". In the late 1980s, he released several albums on the IDA label, including "La note bleue", "French Ballads", "Wild dogs of the Riviera" and "Wild dogs of the Riviera". In the second half of the 1980s, the IDA label released the so-called IDA Trilogy: "La note bleue", "French Ballads", and "Wild dogs of the Ruwenzori", which attracted much attention. This limited edition set features 180g vinyl from the original analog 24-track master of "La Note Bleue", which determined the popularity of Barne's music.Included is a 40-page LP-size booklet, a reprint of the comic book modeled after Barnet's (88 pages), and a CD of previously unreleased recordings made in a Paris jazz club in 1889. This is truly a limited edition box for enthusiasts.
