Vincent's rich and poetic Liszt works! Guillaume Vincent, who is known for his rich narration and strong technique, has recorded Liszt's works! Vincent was introduced to Liszt when he had the opportunity to listen to a performance of Liszt's orchestral works during a visit to Hungary at the age of 12. The works in this program are from the 1850s and 1860s, just after Chopin's death, and they range from mazurkas and polonaises, which are truly a homage to Chopin, to lullabies, which are full of Chopin's style with gorgeous technique. ＜Guillaume Vincent was born in 1991 and began playing the piano at the age of 7. Three years later, he gave his first recital. His talent soon caught the attention of Henri Gautier and François-René Duchabre, and at the age of 13 he entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris. At the conservatory, he studied with the famous teachers Jacques Louvier and Prisca Benoit. In 2011, he received his Performer's Diploma.He has won prizes at many of the world's most prestigious competitions, and has been invited to perform at music festivals around the world, including La Folle Journée Festival, and has performed with many orchestras (in July 2012, he visited Japan with the Ensemble Kanazawa, conducted by Minkowski).
