Description:

In 18th century Sweden, organs were installed in court chapels, city churches, and local churches, but little music was composed specifically for this instrument. So what kind of music was played on the organs that were built one after another in the late 18th century? Swedish organist Joonas Lundblad, who is also a music researcher, was intrigued by this mystery and took up the challenge of playing pieces written for harpsichord and piano on the organ. The brilliant "Allegro con spirito" from Ruhmann's "Music at Drottningholm. The concerto by Agrell, which he later performed in Germany with the court orchestra of Kassel. Jonsen's fugues, for which he was considered a master of improvisation. Works by Naumann, Krauss, Askelgren, and the organ virtuoso Vogler, who played at the court of Gustav III. Performed by an organ built in 1783 in Husbühl, Dalarna, which is considered one of the most historically important instruments. Tokyo M-Plus
