Description:
The Pretty Things, led by British rock genius Phil May, released their seventh album "Silk Torpedo" (Swan Song/SSK 59400/LP) in 1974, which has been reissued on CD. Six additional bonus tracks are included, including a live performance in Santa Monica in 1974 and a single version. This is the first release on the label from Led Zeppelin's Swan Song, a milestone for the Pretty Things. It is a masterpiece that embodies catchy and melodic British pop as well as groovy and tight tunes just as Zeppelin, who regarded Phil May as a hard rock pioneer, saw it. The cover is by Hypnosis.
