A series of recordings of solo piano music by Louis Glass (1864-1936), a Danish composer of the late Romanticism period, with Jacob Alsgård Behr (b.1984). Following the first collection (DACOCD 956), the second collection includes the early "Piano Sonata No. 1 in E major," "Sketchbook," "Countryside Drawings," "Watercolors," and other collections, as well as solo pieces such as "Memories of Summer (White Nights). Glass's piano music, written in the style of Schumann and Mendelssohn, is said to have been popular, partly because the piano school he opened in 1877 was gaining a good reputation. Jakob Alsgaard Behr (b.1984) is a Danish pianist who studied with Ane Woolan at the Academy in Aarhus and is active as a soloist and chamber musician. Tokyo M-Plus
