The release of "Schubert: Piano Sonatas D.960 & D.664" in September 2007 won the 58th Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Art Encouragement Prize. Now, she has completed her long-awaited second release, which includes two of Schubert's "posthumous works. Aki Takahashi gives a deep and dramatic performance of these sonatas, which were written about two months before Schubert's death.
