Ringo Starr's new four-song album, a follow-up to "Rewind Forward," released last October. The four original songs on this album were written and produced by Linda Perry. Ringo himself sings vocals and plays drums on this album, which has a very Ringo Starr-like finish. Linda Perry has collaborated with Ringo on two of his previous EPs ("Coming Undone" from "Change the World" and "Everyone and Everything" from "EP3"). She then approached Ringo and asked if she could produce an entire EP. The resulting "Crooked Boy" consists of four tracks: "February Sky," "Gonna Need Someone," "Adeline," and "Crooked Boy. Ringo comments, "Linda has created a wonderful EP for me. She produced the EP in her studio and then sent it to me. I added drums and vocals," Ringo says."Febrearly Sky" is wonderful. It's a very sad song, but the four songs on this EP were written by Linda for me. So of course there is an element of positive peace and love in these songs.
