The second concert with Prieto, a music director from Mexico, is a collection of works by Falla. The passionate blood and youthful energy of the Latin people are alive and well in this passionate yet exhilarating performance, as if they were playing after a sporting event. Also noteworthy is the Mexican-born pianist Jorge Federico Osorio, who is currently active mainly in Chicago.
