Description:
The Kinks' 17th studio album, released in May 1978. Recording began in July 1977 at KONK Studios in London, and the album was one that promoted the mainstream rock orientation of the previous 1977 album, "Sleepwalker," which, according to Ray, "aimed for jukebox music. Bassist John Dalton, who is leaving the band after this album, participates in some of the songs that came out of the sessions for this album, and is replaced by Andy Pyle. It was also the last work on which pianist John Gosling participated. The album has been newly remastered from the original 1/4" tapes.
