The latest album by the genius Luca DuVargue, who has never done anything out of the ordinary, has teamed up with Gidon Kremer, who is over 70 years old and continues to perform with a sharp and unique performance style. The new album is a collection of works by Milos Magin, a 20th century Polish composer and pianist. Do you know Milos Magin? Milos Magin (1929-1999) was musically gifted from an early age, and studied piano with Marguerite Kazlo and composition with Jan Maklaciewicz and Kazimierz Sikorski at the Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw, graduating with honors in 1957. He began performing while still in school, and after graduation began touring the world, living permanently with his family in Paris from 1960. Three years later, he was involved in a car accident, but with a strong will as a performer, he recovered completely from his injuries and recorded the complete works of Chopin for the French label Decca in 1968, and his brilliant performances and interpretations had a great impact on the music world (already released on CD by Accord in France). During the long period of treatment for his injuries, he returned to his teenage passion for composition, composing technical piano sonatas, symphonies, orchestral works, concertos, ballet music, and songs.These works, full of rich harmonies, melodies, and soloistic rhythms, have come to new light in recent years. Magin was an important figure in the history of Polish music in the 20th century, having spent his entire life with Polish music and contributing to the creation and development of Polish music. Luka Dvargmagin, who is very fond of Magin's music, said, "Along with Mozart, Clementi, and Beethoven, this is the first work I studied. This is especially true of pieces written for children, such as 'Nostalgia for the Motherland. They have been ringing in my ears for the past 20 years and have played an important role in my own life as a performer and composer," says Luca DuVargue. He added, "When you listen to Magin's music, you instantly recognize its character. It delights and surprises the listener. No other composer of his time hesitated to write beautiful melodies as Maggin did.He praised the music's character, calling it "an imaginary ballet" and likened it to the powerful and melancholy rhythms and nuances of traditional Polish dances such as the krakowiak, mazurka, kuyaviak, and obelek, which are inspired by the great French composers of the 20th century. He called Magin's music an "imaginary ballet," likening it to Bach's Sarabande, Mozart's Menuetto, and Chopin's Waltz, and said, "Magin's music is tonal, stimulating the imagination while retaining its classical form. The melodies, harmonies, and rhythms are all a kind of musical chatter that begs the listener's ear to linger," and it is clear that he is utterly smitten with its charm. (1/2) Sony Music
