A.Savage, frontman of New York rock band Parquet Courts, releases his second and latest solo album, his first since 2017, on Rough Trade! A.Savage, frontman of the Brooklyn-based danceable rock band Parquet Courts, has released his second solo album, "Several Songs About Fire," on Rough Trade, following his 2017 solo debut, "Thawing Dawn"! Produced by John Parish, known for his work with PJ Harvey and The Eels, the album features support from Jack Cooper (Modern Nature, Ultimate Painting), Cate Le Bon, and members of Kamikaze Palm Tree and The ten songs were produced using a 16-track tape recorder, and some of the compositions were done in the English countryside, where Savage and Cooper worked late into the night, trying not to wake Cooper's sleeping daughter.
