The masterpiece "Arminio" is a late opera composed by Handel in 1737. This is a new recording of the opera, which has been long awaited by Handel opera fans, as it is rarely recorded. Czencic sings the title role of Arminio, and his steady singing captivates the audience from the technical pieces to the wide and beautiful melodies sung in a relaxed manner. The popular European countertenors such as Sabata, who has a beautiful voice, and Vince I, who is a newcomer but has an overwhelming presence with a large and beautiful voice, also sang well. The highly convincing and tight ensemble under Petrou's direction breathes new life into this opera, which is not only popular baroque singers but also singers with great expressive power.
