The Hunting Party" is the result of Mike's efforts to inspire his 15-year-old self. The first single released from the album, "Guilty All the Same," features Rakim, a legendary rapper Mike heard when he was about 15 years old, who was extremely popular in the late 80s and 90s and had a huge impact on the hip-hop scene.The new album features two guitarists, Page Hamilton of Helmet on "All For Nothing" and Daron Malakian of System Of A Down on "Rebellion," and is a return to the roots and a look at the near-future soundscape, with a heavy, bold mixed-media rock style that stands out. The new album is a return to the roots, but with an eye on near-future soundscapes!
