In 2017, she was nominated for "Newcomer of the Year" at the Spelman Awards, the Norwegian Grammy Awards. Her long-awaited second album is a collection of Baroque music with the MIN Ensemble, one of Norway's leading professional chamber music ensembles. The music for treble and ensemble, mainly Handel and Rameau, presented in a beautiful boy soprano voice, is recommended for both boy soprano and old music fans. In addition, Axel Rikvin underwent a voice change in the fall of 2017, and as of 2018 he has embarked on a new career as a baritone opera singer, making this album a rare recording of Axel's immaculate singing voice as a boy soprano.
