Rudzicki studied piano and composition at the Warsaw Conservatory, and when studying in Berlin, he studied with Engelbert Humperdinck. Together with his friends Shimanowski, Fiterberg, and Scherta, with whom he had established friendly relations, he formed "Young Poland" and worked to revitalize Poland's musical culture. Hailed as a talented child prodigy, Bulgarian pianist Valentina Seferinova made her debut as a soloist with her hometown orchestra at the age of 12. She studied with Lubomir Dinorov at the Bulgarian National Conservatory of Music and became an assistant professor there at the age of only 27. Seferinova has appeared on Bulgarian national radio and television, and her reputation for interpretation of works by composers of the Romantic period has spread beyond Bulgaria, earning her the prestigious honor of being invited to the annual commemoration of Claude Debussy's house and museum by the Paris board of directors.
