Polish composer Raoul Kocharski (1885-1948), who has previously released a collection of chamber music works on the Acte Prealable label, finally releases his first symphony cycle. Kocharski was an artist whose piano skills were highly praised by Anton Rubinshtein from an early age, especially for his performance of Chopin. As a composer, he left behind more than 200 songs, piano pieces, ballets, operas, symphonies, violin concertos, cello concertos, violin sonatas, cello sonatas, piano trios, and even piano concertos in all genres. Unfortunately, many of his works are not available for performance today, but this album shows that he left behind works full of beautiful melodies typical of the Romantic period. Tokyo M-Plus
