Half Mile Beach Club, which has been depicting seaside scenes with its unique Balearic sound blending Latin jazz, club music, and indie rock, has released its first full-length album "Days of the Ocean Waves" after changing to an instrumental band. Half Mile Beach Club, which has been an instrumental band since 2022 and released the well-received "Glare EP" last year, has released its first full-length album in five years, "Days of the Ocean Waves". Days of the Ocean Waves", their first full-length album in five years. The album was produced over the course of several years, with the goal of "making our first album again as an instrumental band. The album is notable for the participation of Saito "JxJx" Jun (YOUR SONG IS GOOD) as producer and Izumi Matsui (YOUR SONG IS GOOD) as guest percussionist.The album consists of a collection of songs that reference days spent near the sea, including "Sugar Vista," which has an AOR vibe that makes you want to drive along the coastline, "Turquoise Route," which melds a tropical rhythm section with psychedelic guitars via surf music, and "Remain in Brightness," a human-powered techno tune in which undulating synthesizer sequence phrases are intertwined with fresh live music.
