Sadanori Nakamure, 89, and Kunimitsu Inaba, 88, are living witnesses of Japanese jazz. Sadanori Nakamure and Kunimitsu Inaba, who are also known for the Ginpari sessions recorded in 1963, have been active on the live scene for more than 65 years. Still active on the live scene, the two have been performing together for more than 65 years. The quintet is 60 x 178, and the member is Yuji Miyano, an alto saxophonist with a beautiful tone reminiscent of Paul Desmond. Yoshiko Iwasaki plays the lyrical and swingy piano. Veteran drummer Hideo Sekine. The album contains 12 songs, mainly standard numbers, as well as plenty of ballads familiar to jazz fans. The main attraction of the album is the rhythm created by Nakamure's sturdy guitar and Inaba's heavy bass. There are not many notes, but the warm space is very comfortable. This may be the boundary reached by these two musicians who have been on the Japanese jazz scene for a long time.
